In the current political climate, it’s important to remember what courage and integrity looks like. RIP Dr. Susan F. Wood.  I worked with Susan at my first real job on the Hill back in 1993-1994. She was an amazing mentor and scholar who really inspired me to be an advocate for women’s health issues. So devastated to hear the new of her death. 😭

Grateful for two nights of Geeks Who Drink trivia during winter break before Fran heads back to Wichita. I missed our weekly visits to Firefly this past fall (Laoghaire had a class Tuesday nights). Hoping for lots of family fun and great food in 2025!   It’s going to take time to write out everything I’m feeling about the dreadful election results, but I’m so grateful to Kamala, Tim, and their entire campaign for giving me hope and joy during the last 100+ days of the election. I’m proud that my children and husband voted for freedom. Thank you!    |
