Leary turns 21 in 3 weeks!

I just watched the short documentary “How Do You Measure a Year?” and wished i would have done a similar ritual with my kids as they grew up. I loved the idea of asking the same questions every year. I was thinking about what questions I would have chosen. Still working on that although I suppose it’s too late now. :) 

One of my favorite birthday rituals with Laoghaire started 8 years ago when he started drawing a picture to put on his cake. The drawings over the years tell a story about who he was and who he’s becoming and I absolutely love that. I can’t wait to see the design for his 21st birthday cake!
