OBITUARY
Keith Connor, 45, died on February 23, 2026 in Burlington, Washington.
Keith was born January 14, 1981 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. He grew up in Girardville, PA, where he attended Immaculate Heart Elementary School before graduating from Cardinal Brennan High School. He later attended the University of Scranton for a short time.
Keith spent much of his adult life on the West Coast, living in Bellevue and Seattle, Washington, and later in Oakland and San Francisco, California, before returning to Washington State in 2025 and settling in Burlington.
Keith worked in the technology industry, including roles at Microsoft and Meta. Colleagues remember him as thoughtful, curious, and deeply intelligent, with a perspective that often helped others see problems—and the world—in new ways.
Keith had a wide range of interests and an unmistakable sense of humor. Friends recall long conversations about movies, books, music, and the strange corners of culture. He loved films, especially unusual or offbeat ones, and shared that passion with friends through movie nights, discussions, and online communities.
Over the years Keith formed friendships across many communities—from childhood friends in Pennsylvania to colleagues in Seattle and California, and to the many people he connected with online. Those who knew him often describe him as kind, thoughtful, and uniquely perceptive.
Keith is survived by his brother, Fran Connor, and sister-in-law Leah Connor, along with cousins, extended family members, and many friends who will remember him with affection.
A memorial website has been created where friends and family may share photographs and memories in celebration of Keith’s life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Keith’s memory to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer.

REMEMBERING KEITH
This is very sad to find out. I knew Keith for most of my life. We both went to grade school and high school together. He was a very nice person. He will be surely missed by family and friends alike. May he R.I.P. in God's hands.
Keith and I met in 2009 at PRO Sports Club. He hired me to train him as part of the Microsoft wellness program. Keith and I got along instantly. We talked a lot about the TV show Lost, and inevitably went to the finale at Central Cinema in Capitol Hill together with a group of friends. We were both thoroughly underwhelmed. More recently Keith reached out to say how much he appreciated our time together. I talked with him as he moved from San Francisco to Marysville. I’m very sad to hear about his passing. He was a good person, with a good heart.

Keith was a great friend I new him my whole life ....he may b gone but not forgotten.
RIP KEITH. MY CONDOLENCES ARE WITH YOUR FAMILY. SAY HELLO TO MY SISTER FOR ME...I'M SURE YOU TWO ARE HAVING FUN TOGETHER!
Keith: a marvel to behold
I am grateful for the opportunity to reconnect with Keith in December 2025. I am also grateful for the photos he shared on Instagram. Thank you for coordinating this memorial for Keith.
Keith is my first cousin on my mother side, Keith’s father Walter and my mother Jeanne were brother and sister. Very sad to hear this news. I have been in communication with Keith over the years to describe Keith would be a Sweet and intelligent. May he rest in peace
Keith will be missed so much.
This is so sad....I went to high school with Keith! We went to out senior prom together at North Schuylkill. He was the best prom date I ever had! He will be sadly missed. [Hello! I found some pictures of Keith from high school if you want some!? I just have to wait till my daughter gets home to help with getting them to you. Sorry I am not tech savy.]
Keith and I spent years working together in Washington before he moved to California. I don't have a lot of friends that were made from my mostly online existence in my late 20s and 30s but he was one of them. Our conversations would flow effortlessly from online to in person and back again in a way that helped me feel seen even though I didn't really let a lot of people in. Still processing the news but hoping his family is given the grace and space to remember Keith and find the new way forward.
I will be looking for any photos and if I find them I will share.
Old friends from knoebels
I’m sorry I don’t have a better picture. I don’t keep many photos of friends on my phone. This one is from late spring or early summer 2015. Keith was happy here, and he loved Gus, the dog. He used to text me photos of Gus all the time. I know there were two cats as well, but what I remember most clearly is Keith and Gus.
I miss Keith, and I’ll keep missing him. We’d nerd out about books, movies, and music. We shared an intense love for the gloriously strange B-movie (maybe even C-movie) The Baby. I’m going to watch Barry Lyndon this weekend in tribute.

I only knew Keith online, from message boards and social media, but have known him many years through these outlets. I remember him as a clever, talented man with a bizarrely sharp sense of humor and perspective. We lost a wholly unique individual in Keith, our online world is much duller for it, and even though we never saw each other face to face I will miss his voice and always count him among my friends. Condolences to his family and friends.

Hi, sorry, Keith was an online friend, and I don’t have any pictures or anecdotes to share.
I’m truly sorry for you loss.
My deepest condolences Leah. I met Keith a few years back and we had a great conversation, though we didn't end up keeping in touch. I'm glad our paths crossed and I'm so sorry to hear the news. Wishing peace to you and your family 🙏
I am so sorry to hear this! 😔 Keith was such a great friend since kindergarten. We will all miss him. My sympathies to the whole family. I will look for any pictures I might have of him.
Im very sorry for your loss. Keith was always very nice in high school. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
I unfortunately don’t have any pictures. He and my sister were good friends growing up. He was a good man and I’m very sorry for your loss. My condolences.
Thank you for reaching out to me. I’m here telling my husband stories about him and our outings and all. Keith and I would be laughing hysterically right now. This one hurts. I really feel for your family.
Leah, I’m so sorry to hear of Keith’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Keith was always good for a laugh! Such a sweet guy.
I knew Keith since we were little. He was a few years younger but I know his family. One of his older brothers was in the same class as my oldest brother. We all went to Catholic School together. Immaculate Heart Elementary School in Girardville and Cardinal Brennan Catholic High School
Leah, Thank you for reaching out. I am sorry to hear of Keith’s passing. Condolences to you and your family. Thanks for putting together and sharing the website.
Hi Leah, thank you for the heads up. I knew things seemed to be going roughly for him recently so I’m sad to get this update but appreciate you sharing the news. I’ll let another old online friend of his know who doesn’t use FB any more. Condolences to you all.
Hi Leah, I'm so sorry to hear about Keith's death. Keith was friends with my husband, Brian. We all went to Coachella together twice, and we had an amazing time. I haven't seen him in years, but I know my husband and some of their mutual friends would watch weird movies together over Zoom. It started as a pandemic tradition, but it continued well after. Sending love to you and your family. ❤️
Thank you for letting me know. Keith was a very close friend for many years. He will be missed.
Hello I’m so sorry to hear of this passing. I graduated high school with Keith. I believe I have photos with home from back then I will check
O my! I’m so saddened by this news. We were friends since kindergarten. Thank you for reaching out.
Oh wow I’m so sorry to hear this. I didn’t know Keith well but the times we worked together at Knoebels he made me laugh numerous times.
Awww I’m sorry to hear about Keith. I haven’t talked to him too much after high school. But, thought he was great guy. This is sweet of you.
Hi Leah — I worked with Keith and I’m very sorry to hear about his passing. Thank you for reaching out. I’d be honored to share a short memory of him.
Keith saw the world differently.
Keith saw the world in a way that made you stop and think. He had a perspective that made ordinary situations a little more interesting, a little more thoughtful, and sometimes clearer than they seemed at first.
Working with Keith meant being reminded that there is more than one way to understand a problem, more than one way to approach a challenge, and more than one way to see the people around us.
That quality made him not just a good colleague, but an important one.
In work, in conversation, and in everyday moments, Keith brought a perspective that pushed us to look beyond the obvious. He reminded us that curiosity matters. That thoughtful questions matter. And that sometimes the most valuable contribution a person can make is simply helping others see something they hadn’t seen before.
Keith saw the world differently.
And because of that, those of us who knew him learned to see the world a little differently, too. That is a gift that stays with us.
Keith will be missed, but the perspective he shared—the curiosity, the thoughtfulness, and the way he helped others think—remains with the people who had the privilege to know him.
That is how he will stay with us.
I’m glad I could share a memory of him. I’m really sorry for your loss.
Oh man! I wasn't aware. Thank you for reaching out. Keith was in college with me at the University of Scranton. One of his roommates is not on Facebook but will devastated to hear as well.
Hi Leah. Thank you for reaching out. Sorry for your loss. Keith was a great person.
Thanks for reaching out, I wasn’t aware of his passing. Might have a few photos from when we met during new hire orientation at Facebook
I am so sorry to learn this, he was such a nice man.
I had not seen Keith in about 20 years, but we worked at Knoebel's grove together and one specific memory I have is a time that we were working at the haunted mansion and talking about rock 'n' roll and sharing our opinions. I will never hear a radiohead song without thinking of Keith.
Thank you so much. This is so sad. I really liked Keith. We were good friends in high school and we reconnected about a year ago. Things seemed tough for him. So sad.
Thank you for letting me know; I appreciate the trouble you've gone to. I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Keith; my condolences to all of his loved ones. - Gaby Kaplan
Thank you Leah for reaching out to let me know. I had been in contact with Keith a few months ago and we were supposed to talk about his life after we lost touch. I had many conversations with him in regard to how he was doing after his recent amputation. He was a special guy for sure. He worked for me at Knoebels when I was a ride supervisor. Just recently got back in touch over the last 2-3 years. I miss him already. Sending love and prayer to your family. If there’s anything I can do, please let me know. 🫶🏻💜
I think maybe you've seen my name before but maybe you haven't, I was a friend of keith. Just wanted to pass along condolences and equally I'm just so heartbroken and sad as anyone who knew Keith is. It hurts, no words can make anything better but hopefully me sending this message to you will help a bit has it also me
Leah - I am so sorry to hear about your brother, Keith. So so sorry. I always felt very connected to him as a fellow outcast in high school he was someone I related to and stood up for. I kept in touch with him over the years, we didnt have as much in common as we got older but I always respected the fact that he got himself out of the skook and did some great things. Take care of your self, please give your family my condolences.
I was so sorry to hear about Keith. My heart goes out to you and Francis, your family has been through so much even before Keith's passing. Thank you for sharing the website

Hello. Thanks for reaching out. Yes, I worked with Keith at Microsoft. Condolences.
Hi there, I did know him and while we hadn’t been in touch recently we did talk quite a bit back in the day online. Sorry to hear of his passing, let us know if we can support.

OH MY GOODNESS. This is very sad news. He left far, far too soon. Leah, I am so sorry and send my sympathies to his family. I was chatting with him online late last year and know he wasn't doing so well, what with vision issues and administrative struggles at Meta.
He and I worked on the same team at Microsoft in the mid-2000s. It was a close-knit team and I've kept in touch with a number of members of it since. Is there an org to send donations to in honour of his memory? Would it be OK if I reached out and shared the link you send with others who were on that team at Microsoft?
