‼️ THE OPPENBARBIE HALF ‼️
The #BARBENHEIMER double feature over 2 days with a HALF-MARATHON in between the films. Yep, that’s what I did! On Friday, I watched “Oppenheimer” from 7-10pm with my husband, slept 6 hours, got up early on Saturday to run a half-marathon (very slowly!), and then enjoyed “Barbie” from 2-4pm with someone else very special.
🎥🍿🏃🏻‍♀️🎥🍿🏅

That being said, the best movie I viewed this weekend was “The Quiet Girl” which just blew me away (and had me in full-blown tears at the end). Go watch it now on HULU!

When I started my seasonal position at the Virginia Film Festival I decided to put together a presentation of THE FILMS THAT INSPIRE ME. It was a fun project!

I love documentaries, movies that make me laugh, and films that make me cry.

The last 4 movies I’ve watched as of October 15, 2022 are:
  • Sidney
  • ‘Twas the Fight Before Christmas

  • Black Fiddlers
  • Clarissa’s Battle
  • Dani’s Twins
  • Empire of Light
  • Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery

  • She Said
  • Songs About Love
  • Ten Months
  • Turn Every Page: The Adventures of Robert Caro and Robert Gottlieb

Wow, that’s a long list! I probably won’t get seeing all of these during the festival, but I’ll keep them on my watchlist for when they get released on demand. :)

These panels should be really interesting;

  • The Power of Media, Storytelling, and The Muppets of Sesame Street
